Projects
In Attack Surface Management (ASM), a Project is a workspace where you can organize your Collections and the Members that have access to them. Projects may be private even within your organization as they do not default to being visible to everyone on your team. To ensure visibility, Members must be added to your Project and assigned Collections-level roles for each Collection within your Project.
- See Manage Project Membership for information about adding Members to a Project.
- The first Project created for an organization is the default project and contains all Members from the organization.
In ASM, your Projects are listed in the Projects and Settings menu.
- By default, a maximum of five Projects are displayed in this menu. To access Projects not listed, you can Search for a specific Project or View All.
- External Projects are legacy Projects that you're a member of, but those Projects are owned by organizations you are not assigned to.
Create a Project
- In ASM, select the organization where you want to create your new Project.
- From the Projects and Settings menu, select My Projects.
- Click Create New Project.
- Enter a name for your Project, then click Create.
You're the default owner of any Project that you create.
Rename an existing Project
You must be a Project Owner to rename a Project.
- In MA-ASM, access the Project you want to rename.
- From the Projects and Settings menu, select Account Settings.
- Click Settings and update as necessary.
